Jason and Cassie Green
PREACHER
Jason and Cassie have been married for 12 years and have 1 boy and 1 girl. They
have been with us for the last 3 years.
As our Preacher, Jason brings us God's Word with enthusiasm and passion. His
love of the Lord is apparent in all that he says and does. In addition to preaching
the Word, he ministers to our congregation, teaches bible classes, is our Life
Group coordinator, helps to oversee the Lads to Leaders program and conducts
home visits as well as visiting while at the building. Jason also conducts a radio
program 6 days a week.
Jason's hobbies include hunting, fishing, sports and golf. You WILL hear about
those from time to time.
Prior to serving as our Preacher, Jason was the Minister at Central Church of
Christ in Andalusia and was the Youth Minister at Margaret Street Church of
Christ.
We all know that standing behind every great man is an equally great woman.
There is no doubt that Cassie Green is a valuable contributor to our church, not
only fulfilling the duties as the "Preacher's Wife", but by taking on those extra
responsibilities that fall through the cracks. In addition, Cassie works as a Class
Teacher, the main Cook for our Wednesday Night Youth Program and as the
Food Coordinator for the Monday Night for the Master Program.
During the day, Cassie works as a substitute teacher and also cleans the church
building.
In her spare, free time, Cassie enjoys scrapbooking and reading.
